What Last Sip is

Last Sip is a coffee-cup reading app for entertainment. You photograph a coffee stain, we generate a playful reading from it. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Your photos of coffee stains. Stored privately so we can show you your past readings. Nobody else can see them. They are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the reading and are not used by them to train models.
• Your onboarding answers: a name or nickname, an optional city, what's on your mind, and a tone preference. Used only to personalise readings. We do not track your location; the city is just what you typed.
• Your readings and short summaries of them, so future readings can refer back to earlier cups.
• Account details if you sign in: your email address or Google account id. Guest mode needs no account.
• Subscription status via RevenueCat and Google Play. We never see your card details.
• Usage analytics (which screens you open, whether a reading was shared) via PostHog, and crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics. These help us fix bugs and improve the app.
• Prompt and output logs. To improve reading quality, we review a sample of readings (the description of the stain and the text we generated). This is covered by our terms.

Reading a friend's cup

A subscriber can photograph a friend's cup while the friend is present. The subscriber types only the friend's first name. Everything else about the friend (email, optional Instagram handle, date of birth, consent) is entered by the friend on the claim page, never by the subscriber. When a friend claims, we create a lightweight account keyed to their email, store a consent record (policy version, hashed email, hashed IP, browser), and send one transactional email with a link back to the reading. Unclaimed readings are deleted 14 days after creation. Claimed readings stay with the friend's account. A friend can report a reading or delete their data from the claim page at any time, without installing the app; deletion removes their name, handle and account link and keeps only the anonymised consent record. Friend readings are for people aged 18 and over on both sides; an under-18 date of birth blocks the claim and discards what was typed.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't track your precise location.
• We don't send marketing push notifications. The daily reminder is the only routine notification, and you control it.
• We don't share your photos or readings with anyone except the service providers listed above, strictly to run the app.

Who we work with

Supabase (database, auth, storage, EU region), Anthropic (AI readings), RevenueCat and Google Play (subscriptions), PostHog (analytics, EU), Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports).

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete account & all data removes your account, every reading and every photo from our systems immediately. You can also email business.strolladou@gmail.com.

Age

Last Sip is for people aged 16 and over.

Your rights

If you're in the EU/UK you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email business.strolladou@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app.
